�� Community Outreach

Christ Church members have a history of generosity. Our members have been giving to community organizations for over 20 years. These gifts are separate from the national church's giving programs. Community organizations to whom our church members contribute include:

Food Pantry - Lutheran Social Service
Adopt a Family Thanksgiving Food Basket - a complete meal is given to those in need at Thanksgiving
Adopt a Family for Christmas Presents - our church provided for several families
Adopt a Camper - our church provided clothing for a young camper whose family needed help
Lutheran World Relief - an organization known worldwide for being one of the first to assist during disaster relief
Love A Vet
World hunger appeal
Philadephia Seminary

In addition to financial giving, the members of our church began a Homebound Ministry several years ago. Members visit over a dozen people in person or by telephone, who are homebound or are temporarily hospitalized.

Part of the Christ Church Mission is to welcome community groups to use of the church's facility for a low maintenance cost. We welcome additional groups, who may contact us at (516) 746-4889 regarding space and time availability.
